What is your favorite way to help a child build his or her sentence building skills?
I love to incorporate a way for them to use their hands and creativity. I have a variety of different activities where they build real or silly sentences that break down the parts of the sentence. Or even them building a sentence by creating a craft!
How do you help a child who is struggling with putting every syllable into the words which they are reading?
It is important to spend some time with that child and figure out what he or she is missing. More often than not, you have to continue to go over the basic skills that you get through memorization and figure out a way that works for them that helps them remember the skills when they need it.
How can you utilize classroom management in an education classroom?
It's important to build your own set of skills that work for you personally as an educator. You build those skills by testing out different ways to do so. You have to learn about the studies behind different classroom management skills and then build off of those. You don't always have to follow the set standards of what has worked in research, though. It always depends on your set of students.
