I'm always forgetting what homework I have to do. I always stay up late to do homework because I don't remember until 10 pm the night before. Help!
It is always helpful to have a calendar dedicated to just school work. At the beginning of the year when you get your course syllabi, write the deadlines in your calendar. Set reminders to check your calendar (if it's not on your smartphone). I always recommend that students schedule a time to just do homework or study. For example, once you get home from school, set aside an hour or two to look at your calendar, finish any homework assignments, and get your materials ready for the next day. This will keep you on track and always prepared.
What is Myers-Briggs?
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality inventory that provides insight into an individuals type theory. It was created by Katherine Briggs and her mother Isabel Briggs Myers based off of Carl Jung's theory of psychological types. The four categories include "Favorite World" (extroversion or introversion), "Information" (Sensing or Intuition), "Decisions" (Thinking or Feeling), and "Structure" (Judging or Perceiving). After taking the "exam", your results will indicate a four-letter answer (ex: INTJ, ESTP, ENFJ) that indicates which of the four categories you most relate to. This is a helpful tool to understand how an individual operates within the world and key personality traits.
Which AP courses should I take so I can transfer them to my undergraduate university? Will I get out of taking General Education requirements?
It depends on which University you decide to attend. Most Universities like to see AP Biology, Chemistry, Calculus, English, Foreign Language, and History (such as US History or World History). Taking any of the above courses could satisfy placement exam requirements in addition to some of your lower division General Education Requirements. Remember, you need a passing score (3, 4, or 5) in order for any University to consider transferring them in.
