Joan C.
Answer:

Dear Sir or Madam, I share a college room with another student. However, I found some troubles that get in my way working. The student I live with is always very noisy with her gadgets. She would turn her iPod on without any headset and when I ask that she just turn the volume low, she would only turn her back on me. She would also allow her boyfriend inside our room, and she often goes inside late at night, she has to interrupt my REM. I need complete rest and sleep after every working day to be able to perform my job well, and with this kind of roommate, I couldn't get enough of it. I couldn't understand why she can break the rules of the college dormitory without any reprimand or warning from your office. May I ask for another room instead that could be more conducive to my rest and sleep? I hope that you will understand and address my concerns. Thank you. Respectfully yours, Joan Capoy
