What should a good conclusion entail?
A conclusion is ideally the last paragraph or section of your paper, indicating to your reader that you are at the end. A good conclusion should wrap up the paper by making it very clear what the purpose and message of the paper was. This can be done by restating your main thesis and perhaps some of your main points in different words. However, a good conclusion should not simply be a summary of the paper. Since a conclusion marks the end, be careful not to introduce any new topics/ideas in your conclusion. I also urge your conclusion to have a "big picture" theme or a "so what". This should tell the reader why this topic/message is important, what it connects to, or how this will help the reader.
