How might you construct an argument on any topic of your choosing?
When constructing an argumentative essay or another piece of argumentative material, the writer should first carefully consider what different arguments support their topic/stance. Some arguments can be easily refuted while others have the potential to be strong, but end up weak because the writer fails to address counterarguments. Therefore, the writer should carefully research the topic and become familiar with common counterarguments so that they can develop a stronger essay/response.
Describe what the sociological imagination is.
The sociological imagination is a concept that was created by sociologist C. Wright Mills. The term is used to describe the way sociologists view and analyze society in a way that explores connections between different issues impacting individuals. For example, if a large number of people within a community suddenly begin losing their jobs, a sociologist will utilize the sociological imagination to attempt to understand what larger issue may be impacting the community.

Describe intersectionality and how gender plays a role in intersectional identities?
Intersectionality is a theory coined by Kimberle Crenshaw which describes the way in which individuals have multiple identities that impact their experiences and how they are treated within society. The intersection of identities can include race, gender, sexuality, class, and much more. An individual is never just a woman or just poor, they are also part of a particular racial or ethnic group, have a sexual orientation, or any other number of identities. Gender inherently plays a role within intersectionality because one's gender is a part of their identity.
