Outside of grammar and syntax, why is it important to understand the origins of the Spanish language and where it is prominently used today?
Before you can fully commit to the Spanish language, there must be an understanding of the conditions of the language. The manner in which it is created, the dialects. the native speakers. All of these aspects must be of primary focus. The application of the language comes second; first the foundation of the language must be digested.

How might Nationalism become dangerous when isolated on its own?
The idea of nationalism is not a concept that it is inherently negative. However, a nationalism which fails to accept and feel compassion for those beyond its borders can be extremely perilous. There are several examples in world history where a surging nationalism, rapidly transitioned into something far more complex and evil.
Given the rebellious nature of several of Twain's protagonists, how might these serve as symbolic gestures towards some of the elements of his own life?
Given Twain's impulsive and often bombastic nature, it makes sense that many of his characters served as embodiments of his own person. We can see through the actions of Sawyer and Finn, that Twain captured facets of his own self.
