What is the purpose of an annotated bibliography?
When writing a research paper or completing an in-depth project, an annotated bibliography keeps track of sources used and explains how they were used. It is more than just a list of sources. It provides information about how the writer used each source to support their arguments. The citations must be formatted in a certain manner, which provides details such as title, author, publication year and location.

What were the main causes of World War I?
There are 5 main causes of World War I: -Militarism - countries had been developing new weapons and building up their armies. -Alliances - nations developed complex networks of alliances with other countries. -Nationalism - countries were prideful and sometimes took that to an extreme. -Imperialism - many countries were claiming colonies around the world and feuding over land. -Assassination - the Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated, putting the alliances into play as European countries declared war on one another. These five factors caused the war in Europe to start. The United States eventually joined the war after threats from Germany and as a consequence of unrestricted submarine warfare.

When evaluating sources for a research paper, what things must you take into consideration?
Quality sources are important for constructing a sound argument in a research paper. When evaluating a source, consider the author's expertise, target audience, date of publication, potential bias, and publication location. Use those features to determine if the information is likely reliable. Use other sources to cross-check facts. Using an unreliable source could cause factual errors in a research paper.
