About Sarah

About Sarah
Hello! My name is Sarah, and I have played the saxophone for 13 years. I am a graduate student studying orchestral saxophone. I also play the piano, guitar, clarinet, bass, mandolin, ukulele, and some drum set. My favorite areas of music include music theory and music history. I love helping other people find parts of music they can be passionate about!

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
I have over 40 hours of observation and practicum experience in classrooms. I have tutored online for about 4 months now, first through Chegg and most recently through Course Hero. Learning music during the COVID-19 pandemic poses several challenges for music students, and I have found that offering this additional support has been helpful for struggling music students in an isolated world.
