Question:

Trying to understand Kant's categorial imperative- what does it mean?

Inactive
Nusheena P.
Answer:

In short, the categorical imperative in Kantian philosophy indicates will and reason to be of the same nature. Our motives have to be pure, when our incentives to do something are out of pure will. Only when an action is done out of consciousness of duty, if your knowledge of the action being good is enough to move you and will you to do it - that is moral.

Answer:

The global silver trade movement was vital part of history as it created one of the first truly global systems, unifying both Europe and Asian civilizations. This was incredibly important as it was a primary cause in creating a system of connection between the New World and the Old World.

Question:

What are some things to remember when forming the body paragraphs of your papers?

Answer:

There are three steps to acing your paper- and its just that! The ACE Method. The Ace Method can be outlined as such: A- Answer the question. What is the prompt asking of you? What do you want for your audience to grasp from your response? What is the goal that you have in mind? C- Cite evidence. This one seems easy but a lot of points can be deducted without proper citations. We can work through APA and MLA formats together so that you won't feel lost in the process... citing isn't difficult I promise! E- Explain the research and evidence you have cited. Tie it BACK to the thesis you have outlined previously and the prompt/goal you want to answer! That's it! Its as easy as spelling ACE.
