Describe your dream project or program in Health and Medicine.

My dream project or program related to Health and Medicine would be creating an InterProfessional Education Department where multi-disciplinary teams learn about the art and science of healthcare working alongside one another. I envision this as a department where learners approach the fields of health and medicine from a critical lens to discover the hidden biases related to race, sexual orientation, ability, and body. The vision of the program is to ultimately dismantle health disparities.

What are the three best study skills you would like your students to develop?

The three study skills students and learners can develop are: 1) discover and work with your learning style, 2) find people, apps, online research guides, and environments to help you focus on your studies, 3) visit the library and meet with a librarian!

What is your approach to reference services?

My approach to providing reference services is intentionally listening and creating an inclusive environment where people feel free to explore, voice their opinions, and critically examine information in a safe space.
