What is surface tension?

Surface tension is a property of water that deals with the hydrogen bonds. Because water molecules have a natural pull towards each other, depending on the weight of the object/organism, there bonds won't break. An example is when some insects are able to walk on top of the water. This is because the insect hasn't broken the surface tension.

Explain how Greenhouse gasses impact temperature.

Greenhouse gasses, like CO2, trap heat in the atmosphere. So heat can get into the atmosphere but is unable to leave causing the overall temperatures to rise. The more greenhouse gasses the more heat gets trapped.

Please how genetic drift can impact gene variation in a population? Give an example

Genetic drift is caused by an event decrease in gene variation at random. for example A population of flowers in a field has red, yellow, and blue petals that all appear in an equal ratio. After a fire burns 75% of the population, there is a larger number of red petaled flowers than the other two colors.
