What is your goal in writing?
Every exposition has a purpose. identifying your purpose in presenting to the reader is the single most important part of an exposition. Misidentifying your audience or your purpose immediately detracts from the message you are trying to convey and cannot be remedied through any other means.

Rudy has decided to spend their allowance on sausages. Rudy has to choose between Polish sausage, sold at $0.15 per link, Bratwurst., sold at $0.27 per link, and Andouille, sold at $0.53 per link. In total. Rudy has spent $3.05 on 13 sausages, and they only purchased a single Andouille. What is the breakdown of Rudy's sausage purchase?
Rudy is fortunate to have such a lovely spread of sausages to choose from. We know that $3.05 was spent, and the price per sausage for each variety. Here, we must build a system of equations to see which type of sausages Rudy purchased: X = Number of Polish Y = Number of Bratwurst Z = Number of Andouille X + Y + Z = 13 0.15X + 0.27Y + 0.53Z = 3.05 Z = 1 Inputting Z = 1 to our other equations shows us that: X + Y = 12 0.15X + 0.27Y = 2.52 Since X is then equal to 12-Y, we can substitute that phrase creating: 0.15(12-Y) + 0.27Y = 2.52 Solving for Y, we find that Rudy purchased an equal number of Polish and Bratwurst sausages, a great testament to his taste for central European meats.
