Subject: Writing

Question:

Can you help me write a story?

Answer:

The most important part of a story is character development, conflict, and resolution. To develop a story, think about a character. In thinking about that character, try to really think about something that that character really, really wants. Next, you'll want to think about obstacles standing in the way of that character getting what they want. To end the story, think if you want that character to actually get what it is they wanted to begin with.

Answer:

I really like the book series written by Jason Reynolds. The first book in the series is called Ghost and it is the story about a boy who discovers a passion for running. The rest of the books in the series are about the different characters on the track team.

Subject: Databases

Question:

I am doing a research project on a famous person in history. Can you help?

Answer:

Yes. You can use a database to conduct your research. Select the database of your choice. I recommend "Pebble Go." From there, you can search for your subject. This is a much better resource to use than google, for example. The reason is because the content is created by subject experts, goes through a rigorous editing process, and is a closed platform research database designed specifically for students like you.
