I am a rising junior at The Ohio State University double majoring in English and Speech and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Theatre. As an Honors student, I have been dedicated to my studies and have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA. I love writing, reading, acting, singing, playing flute, and helping out other students!

The Graide Network, Paper Grader
2020 - 2021
My duties as a Paper Grader involved adapting to various rubrics and writing levels. By working with middle school students, high school students, AP students, and ESL students I provided comprehensive feedback while maintaining a tone of professionalism, approachability, and empathy.
2017 - 2021
As a cashier at Arby's I was expected to maintain professionalism and kindness when speaking with customers. I responded quickly and empathetically to customer complaints, ensuring that every customer's need was met. I also trained multiple employees by describing company procedures clearly and creating a welcoming atmosphere. In addition, I communicated store needs tp managers and handled cash.
Firelands Hospital, Volunteer Aid
2019 - 2019
Throughout the summer of 2019 I worked as a volunteer aid with the Tiny Talkers Therapy Group at Firelands Hospital in Sandusky, Ohio. As a volunteer aid I helped create and execute therapy games with children that encouraged the development of language. I also helped manage behavioral issues on an individual level and communicated with both therapists and parents.
Blanchard Valley Center, Volunteer Aid
2018 - 2018
At the Blanchard Valley Center I had the opportunity to work with children in elementary and middle school who came from disadvantaged households or who had speech or behavioral disorders. As a volunteer aid I learned to react to behavioral issues with empathy while encouraging a peaceful learning environment. I also helped create and supervise activities that inspired emotional and educational development.
