Why is trigonometry important?
Similar to algebra, trigonometry is hugely important for future mathematics courses. Trigonometry deepens one's understanding of sine, cosine, and tangent functions - what they look like graphically, their relationship to one another, and how to use them to solve geometry problems. Trigonometry also allows one to find all 3 angles and side lengths of a triangle. While none of these things may sound important on their own, they are crucial in more advanced classes such as Calculus, Physics, Mechanical Vibrations, and more.
Why does understanding physics matter?
Physics is the study of how things work. From learning why a thrown baseball always follows a parabolic shape to understanding how fast a car can go around a corner without crashing into the wall, physics is both interesting and critical to everyday life. When learned properly, physics can be fun and enable you to think differently about the physical world around you.
How can understanding algebra help me in life?
Algebra is the fundamental building block for all future mathematics courses and is key in understanding logic, relationships between numbers, equations, and much more. Even if you don't intend on having a mathematical related career, Algebra can better help you to think logically, understand problems, and solve them more quickly.
