White blood cells are a vital part of the immune system as these cells will help pour body fight and combat infections by attacking and destroying the bacteria, viruses, and germs that invade our immune system. In contrast Red blood cells are responsible for transporting oxygen around our body and delivers carbon dioxide to our lungs.
