How do you best integrate research or quotations from other writers in your essays?
Citation is a practice of emphasizing your understanding and ability to participate in a conversation about a particular subject or area of expertise. The ability to summarize information from other work and respond to that information with further context and analysis is foundational to the writing of paragraphs. Leaning too much on quotes outweighs the strength of the writer's own argument, who should strive for balance in presenting a new perspective that pushes forward the conversation rather than repeating it.

What is the difference between point-of-view and point of telling?
Point-of-view is the perspective in which a story is being told, either in first-person (a narrator tells a story), second person (direct address, "you"). and third person (either omniscient or limited, meaning a story is being told about someone to an audience). Point of telling is the place in time, usually the future, from which the story is being told after the events of the story.
