Questions
Subject: Writing
I know what I want to write about, but I don't know what to put in my introduction. Will you help me?
A well-written introduction will grab your reader's attention and make them want to continue reading your paper. It will also contain the main driving force of your paper. This driving force is called your thesis statement. The introduction will also set the tone for your paper. The more creative and unique you are in your approach, the more you will engage your audience.
Subject: Pre-Algebra
I'm so lost when it comes to graphing!!! Can you help me?
Graphing can be confusing at first. It was for me. However, I'll show you some tricks that will make it much easier. When you master graphing, you will feel very good about yourself.
Subject: ASVAB
How can I pass the ASVAB when I haven't taken a math class in ten years?
Most of the students I tutor have been out of school for a while. It's common to forget most of what you learned when it comes to math. For most of us, we use it or lose it! You'll be surprised how quickly you will be able to master those skills again, though. You may even find that you enjoy learning math as an adult.
