The uigetfile command is one way. Type "help uigetfile" into the command line to find out more about how it is used. An example that would allow multiple files to be imported could look like this: [filename, pathname] = uigetfile({'*.txt''},'Select the Files to Import','MultiSelect','on'); The followup line: filename = cellstr(filename)'; will convert the variable containing the file names into a cell that can be numbered and thus easily walked through with a for loop.
