In terms of writing styles, please explain the difference between explanatory, narrative, creative, persuasive, research, and business/professional writing.
Different writing styles are dependent on the context and content of what one is writing. Explanatory writing will essentially describe facts and events, while narrative will elaborate on past events in a story format. Creative writing includes both hypothetical realities, as well as completely imaginary or fictional stories. Persuasive writing is used to convince or order the reader towards or away from a certain thought or action. Research writing is a highly technical style that is used to present findings in a particular area of study. Finally, professional writing is a way of communicating within a specific field to demonstrate ones expertise and qualifications as a professional.

What is it to be human? Is it something categorical based on parameters of biology/evolution, culture, language, society, etc? Or is one's humanity something subjective and conditional, based on a variety of factors dependent upon one's worldview and culture? Explain your own reasoning behind your answer.
The question of what is human is a deeply debated philosophical issue, but can be reduced to a few key components. One of these is biological, since humans (Homo sapiens) are a genetically distinct group of primates with key anatomical, physiological, and molecular features unique to our species. We are the only known creature on this planet to have a true, verbal language, which has had profound effects on our evolutionary success, in addition to tool use, dietary modifications, and bipedalism. Furthermore, we are one of only a few groups of mammals to have a clear expression of culture, or behaviors passed down inter-generationally. This, combined with the other traits mentioned previously, have led to our survival and success as a species. Furthermore, diversity in human cultures have led to different interpretations of who is considered a member of humanity, and this has changed over time based on religion, social attitudes, and morality.
