About Sarah

About Sarah
I'm a librarian who loves research, history, cats, music, movies, crafting, and spending time with friends and family. I'm passionate about information literacy and teaching people how to find the information they need and how to incorporate it into their assignments.

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
As a graduate teaching assistant in History, I've taught all levels of college students (first year and beyond) on how to read and write about primary sources. As a librarian, I also teach college students how to find sources, interpret them, and determine if they are germane to their assignment. I also teach faculty, staff, and community members how to use library resources. The people I help come from diverse populations and I pride myself on being able to to quickly adapt to their individual needs.
