How do you write a poem?
Write the first thing that comes to mind and then keep writing. Pull out the nuggets that seem to be fanciful or florid. Keep a rhyme dictionary and thesaurus nearby to help you brainstorm possibilities for word choice. After you write your poem. Hide it in a drawer until you have forgotten it. When you find it again. Re-read and revise. Voila!
Subject: Gender Studies
What makes a woman female?
This is not a simple question. Simplistically one might say genitalia, but this ignores sex chromosomes which can come in not just pairs, but sometimes threes! It also ignores hormones. Not to mention the gender identity of the individual.
How do I create a thesis?
Think about what sparks your interest about a subject. Draft your idea. Consider supporting evidence: at least three points. Draft your essay. Revisit your thesis. What could make it stronger? Revise and edit not just your thesis, but your entire essay to hone its quality and argument.
