Describe how Joe Biden's foreign policy differs from that of Donald Trump.
While Trump famously had an exclusivist 'America First' policy, in which only the ideals and values of American conservatives were considered, Biden has shown himself to be inclusivist in his approach. For example, the waiving of patents for COVID-19 vaccines shows that he is willing to put the needs of other countries into consideration (even if it is to ensure that mutations do not circle back to America). Visiting with foreign leaders, especially key allies, and using regular diplomatic channels is evidence of a return to formal diplomacy.
