Work Experience
Iowa State University, Department of Science and Engineering, Teaching Assistant/Tutor
2018 - 2021
I've tutored dozens of students in introductory materials science, with topics ranging from mechanics of materials to polymer chemistry. I've also tutored a few students in low-level Spanish--a language in which I am fluent.
Ames Laboratory, Research Intern
2018 - 2019
I worked with a team of materials scientists at Ames Lab to investigate permanent magnetism in certain rare-earth intermetallic compounds.
