I am a doctoral student studying cognitive psychology with a BS in neurobiology and an MS in general psychology. I have formally tutored psychology and neuroscience students at an undergraduate level assisting with APA writing skills, research and statistics, laboratory skills and general psychology course work. As a registered behavioral technician, I work with children and youth diagnosed with developmental disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder. I have had the opportunity to work with clients both in home and in school settings, assisting with academic skill development. This position has provided me the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals and further develop my teaching or tutoring skills as each individual has a unique set of strengths and academic needs.
