Hi! My name is Laura and I just finished my freshman year at Georgetown University in the School of Foreign Service. I study Culture and Politics. This summer I am interning as a writer for The Borgen Project's online magazine writing on the topics of global health and technology and solutions. I also do creative writing on the side, am an avid reader, and enjoy spending time outdoors. In addition to English, I am fluent in Spanish, proficient in French, and know intermediate level Portuguese.
I have taught English in Uruguay, sexual education as a peer mentor for Planned Parenthood, and English as a second language to inmates at the Arlington jail.
