Answer:

While a thesis and a reason are similar, the thesis is the overarching reason of why the author believes the side they are supporting. This can be referred to as an umbrella term. The reasons support specific details that the author uses to support their thesis. Within the argument, the author will have several examples to give a grounded sensation to the argument. With each example, there is a reason as to why it supports the overall argument.

Answer:

Communication, in whatever form it may be, is essential to functioning in our world. No matter what your profession is in the future, you will need to communicate. Everyone needs to be able to accurately and effectively. One of the aspects of English that is often forgotten is comprehension. People assume that if you can read and write, you understand everything, this is not so. Throughout life, people need to be able to understand what it is you are reading. By comprehending advanced writing, the student can base their writing off of a master text effectively.
