Why is a carrying capacity an important for the environment ?
Carrying Capacity is the maximum amount of of species that can survive in a particular area, without depleting that area of resources. Carrying Capacity is important because if a species population increases past carrying capacity they will not be enough resources to sustain the population.
What is the difference between covalent and ionic bonds ?
Covalent bonds is a chemical bond consist of atoms sharing electrons to between each other. In contrast, Ionic bonds consist of atoms either receiving or giving electrons to another atom to maintain stable balance.
Please describe the structure of DNA
DNA backbone consist of deoxyribose (sugar) and a phosphate group. DNA structural shape consist of two strands called double helix. The double helix run opposite of each other. DNA also has four nitrogen bases : Adenine ( A) Thymine (T), Cytosine(C), G(Guanine). These base pairs each contain vital genetic information.
