How can I find out which libraries near me have a copy of the book that I need?
To locate nearby copies of a book that you need, WorldCat is a very useful place to start. You can visit WorldCat at the following link and enter the title and author's name into the search bar near the top of the window. https://www.worldcat.org/ If the book has a common title or you are searching for a specific edition, you can use the advanced search, at the following link, and enter all of the information about the book that you have. https://www.worldcat.org/advancedsearch Click on the result for the correct item, and you will be taken to a record that includes information about the book. Below the initial content block, you will see "Find a copy in the library." This section enables you to enter your location and receive a list of nearby libraries that have the book in their collections.
