Question:

With work and school to manage, how can I organize my weekly tasks better?

Answer:

There are many free online tools available to help with organization. If you want to track projects, Trello is a great option that allows you to create checklists and timelines within each project. With a Google account you also have access to Google Calendar and Drive which can help track deadlines, upcoming important dates and store all of your documents as well. There are also many free weekly planner printable pages if you prefer hard copy organization over electronic.

Question:

I'm interested in learning about my family history. How do I find services related to genealogy?

Answer:

That depends on where you are located. For example, the public library near me has several free resources available such as Ancestry Library and HertiageQuest Online. I would be happy to help you locate your nearest public library and identify similar resources for you. Outside of that, there are fee-based services such as Ancestry.com or FamilySearch.

Question:

What is an underlying theme in John Steinbeck's book, Cannery Row?

Answer:

One underlying theme in Cannery Row is the idea of collecting. We can see it in the character Doc and his need to constantly collect specimens no matter what else is going on around him. We also see it more subtly in the way Steinbeck "collects" other local characters by introducing them at random. He is not trying to show how each fits in perfectly and helps develop a strong plot but rather, he just takes what is in front of him (figuratively) and presents his collection of the town.
