I'm an early elementary school teacher of 19 years, who is passionate about literacy---reading, and writing. In fact, I am about to get my literacy specialist/literacy coach license. I specialize in teaching early reading and writing because I believe that a solid literacy foundation is essential to student's academic success.
For 19 years, I have enjoyed teaching kindergarten through second-grade students. I have taught multilingual and multicultural students from the Philippines, Thailand, and various states in the US including Michigan and Hawaii. I have always used research-based pedagogy to ensure success for every student.
