Tutor profile: Matthew B.
Former Special Education Teacher
I am married with 3 dogs. I enjoy teaching and learning. My favorite TV shows are documentaries and shows that I can learn something from. I enjoy camping and being outdoors.
I was a teacher's aide and substitute teacher for nine and a half years in a classroom serving severe to profound developmental disabilities. I went back to school and was certified to teach elementary education and special education for all grade levels. I taught special education in a rural junior senior high school for one year before I accepted a job in IT with the State of Illinois.
