What are the components of an annotated bibliography?
The purpose of an annotated bibliography is to summarize research or literature. For scientific research, one typically starts with a full citation of the article, followed by a description of the article, its purpose and its results. It is important to include an evaluation of the quality of the article, such as its reliability, validity, and limitations. This can be followed with an explanation of how the article is relevant to one's own topic. The end result should be a brief summary of the article's contents, its quality, and its ability to be of use to the writer in their own paper.

Which sentence is NOT grammatically correct? Explain why. A) If she weren't there in time, he might have lost the bet. B) If she wasn't there in time, he might have lost the bet.
Choice A is not grammatically correct because the verb "weren't" is intended for a plural subject, like "they." Because "she" is singular, the correct verb for this sentence is singular as well, or "wasn't."

How does subject matter pertain to cultural values in your chosen piece of artwork?
My chosen piece was the ancient cave art found in the Lascaux caves in France. The subject matter of most of these wall pieces are bulls, horses, and other large animals. This shows that the people who painted those walls considered bulls and horses incredibly important to their own culture, likely as a source of food or as dangerous animals to avoid. Because they paint these animals so often, their culture likely was dependent on how they interacted with the beasts.
