Question:

Explain x/0 = undefined

Robert M.

Answer:

Well let's look at $1 / 1 = 1 $1 / .50 = 2 $1/ .25 = 4 $1 / .10 = 10 $1 / .05 = 20 $1 / .01 = 100 you can see that as the divisor gets smaller (closer to zero), the result gets larger. imagine dividing by the smallest number you can think of. The result will get so big that we say it is reaching infinity. Since infinity is hard to define, we call the result UNDEFINED.
