Question:

How can I organize an essay effectively?

Answer:

There are several ways to organize a structure of an essay. The structure you choose depends on the topic and the purpose of the essay. If you are writing a essay on a historical subject or are explaining the progression of a plot in a novel, using chronological order would be the most effective method. Depending on the content, you could choose to order the topics from oldest to newest or newest to oldest. If you choose this method of organization, make sure you do not skip around events in time otherwise your reader will become confused on the order of events. If you are writing an argumentative essay, you should structure your essay around your thesis statement or the main points of argument. 1st paragraph: Hook Introduction of topic Thesis statement (Reason 1,2,3) Body paragraph (have one of these for each reason) Reason 1 Evidence or explanation of ideas Transition Conclusion Summary of thesis

Answer:

SWOT is an acronym that stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. SWOT analysis is used to better define the current position of the company and to determine the direction the company may choose to pursue in their marketing campaigns. Companies generally try to focus on their strengths, minimize weaknesses, pursue new opportunities, and mitigate threats to the business.

Question:

Given f(x)=X^2+X and g(x)= 2x+1, Find g(f(2))?

Answer:

This problem utilizes composite functions. Composite functions are created when one function is substituted into another function. The problem uses function notation to write out the function easily. In this instance, the x in the f(x) can be translated as x value, or domain of the function, and the f(x) can be translated as the y value, or range of the function. Composite functions work like Russian Nesting dolls. You need to close the smallest doll and put it into the larger doll before finally closing the doll. You need to solve for the function in parenthesis first (the smaller doll), and use the solution for the first function as an input to solve the second function (put the now closed smaller doll into the larger doll before closing it entirely). In this problem, f(2) means I am trying to find the range value. or y, when x equals 2. Following Order of Operations, I am going to solve to find what f(2) is first since it is in parenthesis. As previously mentioned, since x=2, I need to plug in 2 into the f(x) function. f(2)= 2^2 +2 f(2)= 4+2 f(2)=6 Now that I know what f(2) is, I am going to use this new found value as an input into the g(x) g(6)= 2(6)+1 g(6)=12+1 g(6)=13 Final solution is x=13.
