During high school, I never knew what I wanted to do after I graduated until I started teaching myself how to code my Junior year. Traditional college didn't feel like the right path for me, but my teachers, family, and friends encouraged me to go, so I decided to pursue a programming degree.
Since I already had some programming experience, I began tutoring students in my class. This helped me discover my passion for educating others and I eventually started tutoring students from all over the country. I realized college wasn't putting me on...
I first started tutoring other students in math and AP Computer Science during my senior year of high school. When I started college, I already had a couple years of programming knowledge and was able to tutor other students in my classes. The college then reached out to me and asked if I would tutor any students wanting to learn to program. This experience helped me get hired as a tutor with a startup in San Francisco to tutor students from all over the world remotely.
