One way to remember the equations of sin, cos and tan is to use the acronym SOH CAH TOA. Sine is opposite over hypotenuse. Cosine is adjacent over hypotenuse. Tangent is opposite over adjacent. Using the angle 35, you can set up the equation cos35=4/B. Now you can multiple each side by length B to get Bcos35=4. Now you can divide each side by cos35 to get: B=4cos35. Plug this into your calculator to get 3.28 centimeters which is what length B equals.
