Why do all the party people want to learn Spanish?
Hispanic culture is famous worldwide for their eccentricity and eternal carnivals. That’s only the tip of the iceberg. Every country of Latin- America has at least 10 folk dances to try and at least 2 carnivals per year, Hispanic people have an incredibly willing to find any excuse for parting and that’s a fact. Anyone who likes adventure and fun experiences will have in their “To Do” list: travelling-America. And anyone who already had is going to tell you how warm and inclusive are the people despite the rumors of danger and drug dealers. When you know how to communicate in this part of the world you are not going to be just a spectator of the party, you’ll be (wanted or not), part of it and even if you suck at dancing our people is going to teach you with a big smile. If you learn Spanish you are not only going to learn another language you’ll have the time of your life in the practice.
Why every person who feels passionately about cooking, art, fashion, politics or literature should learn how to read in French?
In this day and age, we are looking for information on the internet almost all the time. In some cases when we can’t find good information in our native language we give it a try to do some research in English (the popular one). Now imagine how it would be to have information of the people who are the experts worldwide of the matter we are looking for without the misinterpretation of a tourist amateur who write about that as a personal experience or waiting for a translation that can be full of cultural misunderstandings or might never come. France has really interesting things to say about many matters but they are a recognized world power in terms of Gastronomy (cheese, wine, patisserie), Art (museums), Fashions and shopping, Politics (globalization and human rights) and literature (15 novel prizes). French is one of the most complete and academically interesting cultures in the world. Why wouldn’t anyone want to have first-hand information from them in their native language?
