French
TutorMe
Question:

Why should I learn French from a non-native?

Sydney D.
Answer:

There is a distinct bonus when you learn from someone who has, like you, learned: they know the pitfalls, difficulties, and frustrating bits of the target language. I (as one of these non-natives) understand what tendencies that non-native speakers of French have, and can help to correct them. Unlike a native speaker, I am able to provide you with a more flamiliar way of looking at things, and can use personalized activities and tools to help you learn.

Writing
TutorMe
Question:

Writing is broad. What help can you provide me with my writing assignment / work?

Sydney D.
Answer:

Writing itself is broad, but assisting someone in improving their writing skill is induvidual and specific. Each person has a certain set of tools they have at their disposal to write using - their creativity, induvidual experiences, and way of communicating. Mastering writing is a matter of adapting these skills with the technical skills of grammar and spelling to create well-crafted and carefully edited material.

ACT
TutorMe
Question:

For the ACT English test, what is the most important thing to remember?

Sydney D.
Answer:

The test is not designed in a way as to trick students, but to offer them an opportunity to prove their learning obtained in school. By reviewing that the student already has been presented with the kinds of questions in the ACT test, they can practice more effectively and learn more aptly from their mistakes.
