Question:

Express 57/10000 as a decimal.

Joe H.
Answer:

57/10000 is equal to 57 - 10,000ths. When looking at decimals, each number after the decimal is subsequently, tenths, hundredths, thousandths, ten-thousandths, hundred-thousandths, etc. With four numbers from the decimal being ten-thousandths, we can then express 57/10000 as .0057

Question:

Why do we dream?

Joe H.
Answer:

This is a widely debated topic within different schools of psychology with no clear conclusion. Some neuroscientists believe that it is simply random firing of neurons during REM sleep. Others attribute sleep to a form of cementing and processing memories in the brain. Freud theorized that our dreams represented the suppressed wishes of our subconscious minds. He believed that things we dreamed were secretly what we wished for but were not acting out due to fear.

Question:

Why would an entrepreneur deem getting into debt a good decision for the business?

Joe H.
Answer:

Many consumers are afraid of debt and see it as a scam credit card companies use to get money out of people for buying things they do not need nor can they afford. However, the debt was originally created to help businesses grow. There is a good side of debt. Example: Your business can't afford to purchase widget X in cash, but can purchase widget X for Y dollars per month. If you project widget X to be able to produce Z cash for your business every month and Z (the amount widget X produces every month) is greater than Y (the cost of widget X every month) then it makes sense to get into debt to purchase widget X. The point is that it is a good idea to get into debt if you are purchasing something that will make your business money. If it's an expense that can't be justified as a money making expense then it's not economical to get into debt for that purchase.
