I'm from South Carolina -- I have lived in the Upstate my whole life except for two years when I lived in West Virginia. I'm currently a librarian at USC Upstate where my main duties include instruction and outreach. I've been here full-time since April 2019, though I began part-time in October 2016. I have a cat named Seamus at home. I like to hike on the weekends and read books with my science fiction/fantasy book club.
I've been teaching since 2009 when I started at West Virginia University. I taught a for-credit information literacy class on several different occasions.
