Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
As a Resident Advisor at UC San Diego, a significant portion of my job was education and counseling. As an RA, I helped 1st year college students with coursework, helped them navigate the university, and taught seminars on complicated topics such as gentrification and civil rights. As a long-term restaurant server, I trained new servers in procedures and policies, teaching them how to excel in a fast paced environment. I would share my expertise through one-on-one training sessions, helping them maximize their productivity.
