How can I write a convincing argument to persuade an audience?
When aiming to persuade, your writing should follow the thesis statement/main point you've established to make in your writing. Arguments should be made in three body paragraphs if writing a general essay, "sandwiched" in-between an introductory and conclusive paragraph. When persuading, it is recommended to reference credible sources and avoid any ad hominem (meaning your essentially attacking your opponent personally) to establish your own credibility.
