Tutor profile: Ryan D.

I am an experienced filmmaker, photographer, and writer. Driven by storytelling archetypes, I take pride in providing the best narrative evocation in visual and written form. In addition to my primary job functions in and around professional cameras, I have been recognized by the Virginia Tech Visual Arts department for my exemplary commitment to short films in experimental cinema.

I have informally taught film production, pre-production, and post-production on a community-based level in my hometown of Reston, VA, in addition to photography basics and lighting. I am currently working towards my teaching certification at the state level, with the goal of teaching English and film theory at a high school level.
