Answer:

Once you have entered your data, highlight the portion you would like to add into your chart. Next, you will click "Insert" at the top, find "Charts," and click on the arrow at the bottom right. You will then click the "All Charts" tab. Here, you will find a list of all possible charts and graphs, allowing you to choose the best one to suit your needs. Once your graph has been inserted, you can title it as well as adjust the data layout, colors, and size to your needs.

Question:

What are the major differences between citing in APA style and MLA style?

Answer:

The main differences are within the titles, in-text citations, and reference list. In MLA format, there should be title capitalizations for every major word, whereas in APA format, only the first word of the title should be capitalized. For in-text citations using MLA, the author's name(s) will be fully be written out Last Name, First Name. However, in APA format, the author's name(s) will be Last Name, First Initial, and followed by Middle Initial (if applicable). Finally, papers written in MLA format will have a "Works Cited" page, whereas APA will simply have a "References" list.

Question:

What is the major difference between control theories and other sociological explanations of crime?

Answer:

The major difference between control theories and other sociological explanations of crime is the fact that they attempt to explain why people do not commit crime, rather than attempting to explain why they do. Thus, control theories assume that everyone has the inherent motivation to commit crime, explaining that most people will participate in not just criminal behavior, but other non-criminal deviant behavior. Control theorists assert that it is only through bonds with others that people will choose to participate in such behavior less often. This contrasts with other sociological theories, which indicate criminal behavior is more the product of one’s environment, not already within them.
