Question:

What are some of your favorite studying techniques?

Boutayna C.
Answer:

I am a big fan of flashcard training and note-taking. I find that I process information the best when I am taking notes. I like flashcards because they help me stay organized and concise. It's important to have an outline for your flashcards as preparation for possible exam questions. I like to make sure I include the definition, a brief summary, and my interpretation of the topic.

Question:

What are some challenges to achieving effective communication?

Boutayna C.
Answer:

There are several challenges to effective communication. Context plays a significant role in communication. There can be social, cultural, psychological, and even physical barriers that influence interactions between parties. With the advancement of technology, we have to quickly adapt to new forms of communication such as social media, video calls, and emojis. As verbal communicators, we often neglect the fact that we also engage in non-verbal communication. Our body language, facial expressions, and intonations make up 70% of our communicative messages.
