Questions
Subject: Writing
Should writing use complex words or simple words?
When you can be effective AND simple, always simple. In Law, and often in writing, cutting down words versus adding words is more difficult. Make sure you know what you are trying to convey to the reader before putting pen to paper.
Subject: Law
What is the difference between what is just and what is legal?
Look at the resources available to you. Unfortunately, being "just or right" is not always enough. Find the law that applies, apply it, and ask yourself how legislation such as this can be changed in the future
Subject: English as a Second Language
Do you feel it is important to use your native language when learning a new language? If so why do you feel it is necessary?
No. The purpose of ESL teaching is for children of all ages (preferable ages 2-7) to learn through immersion and absorption. There are many ways to bridge the language gap other than resorting back to the natural language- which can often hinder learning
