About Jim
I currently attend UCSB and am double majoring in Political Science and Economics. I am also going to be minoring in English and Feminist Studies. I am very eager to teach and assist other students and helping them understand things they might not get. I admire education and think it is something very important in life and everyone should take advantage of any opportunity they have in it. I am a very patient and great communicator. I have skills in leadership, explaining well, and commitment to getting whatever goal I place for myself.

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
I began tutoring in my hometown in an elementary school while I was in High School. I tutored young kids who were struggling to reach the proficiency level the school required. This then encouraged me to branch out and offer help to students around my age in subjects that I was able to help in (usually students a grade or two lower than I was). During my senior year in High School, I revised many essays from students who were in AP classes a grade lower than I was. They mainly reached out to me because I had taken the class my previous year.
