How do you best tackle the SAT (Math) for maximum speed and efficiency?
The SAT, in general, is about recognizing, learning, and following patterns. This makes it so, regardless of initial score, if an individual takes multiple practice tests their score will improve by on average a hundred points.
What is the most important question to ask yourself as you write a paper, regardless of subject?
Why. Asking 'why' as you go through every step of the paper forces the writer to include supporting evidence and clarity, making it easier for the reader to not only understand the claim but also to support it.
What make's Monsanto's genetically engineered crops pesticide resistant?
These soybeans are a series of genetically engineered varieties of glyphosate-resistant soybeans produced by Monsanto. Roundup normally inhibits the EPSPS of plants, therefore inhibiting the production of amino acids. To the soybeans resistant, the soybean genome was inserted with a gene from an agrobacterium that had become resistant to the toxin found in Roundup through random mutation. Roundup kills all the plants it comes in contact with by inhibiting EPSP synthase, but because the soybeans are resistant, farmers can spray their fields with the herbicide, killing all the weeds but not the soybeans. This gives them excellent weed control and maximum yield potential.
