Question:

How can I improve my writing?

Cheyenne D.
Answer:

The best advice I can give you is to read everything you write out loud to yourself. We are much better at hearing awkward phrases or mistakes than we are at reading them. By reading your work out loud to yourself you get a chance to catch any mistakes that otherwise would be easily overlooked.

Question:

What is the difference between sensation and perception?

Cheyenne D.
Answer:

Sensation is your body's ability to interact with the environment around them, in other words, sensation is all about the physical. Perception is how your mind interprets those sensations. This means that sometimes our perceptions are false, or not grounded in reality and our brain plays tricks on us.

Question:

How do I begin to analyze a work of literature in a unique way?

Cheyenne D.
Answer:

Start by thinking outside of the box! Use your background knowledge of other subjects and what you are interested in to view the literature through a new framework. This will get you excited about your work and provide a new spin on literature that has often been studied for decades.
